MIRACLES OF CHRIST, THE

The miracles are studied as the vehicle of God`s self-revelation and His ultimate reason for coming into the world: the healing and restoration of mankind. They are examined in the framework of the church`s lectionary. He explains for instance why the miracles recorded in the Gospel of Mark are appropriate for Great Lent whereas those recorded in St. John`s Gospel are read in the Easter season.
