ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM`S COMMENTARY

St. John Chrysostom may have written commentaries on all of the Psalms but only 58 are extant today. This volume provides a translation of his commentary on Psalms 109 to 150. The extensive introduction which accompanies these deals with questions such as the origin of the commentaries, their relation to Chrysostom`s other works and their spiritual and moral accent.
